a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Fire Chief to sign updated Misc. Agreement 2026-053 with the California Department of Transportation for the purpose of providing bulk fuel services, with maximum compensation not to exceed $8,000, effective 10/1/26 and shall terminate 9/30/29
body
Financial Impact:
Sufficient funding is included in fiscal year budget 2042-53291.
Background Information:
The Tehama County Fire Department Mineral Station 20 is located at the Mineral Caltrans Maintenance Station. An Agreement with Caltrans is necessary to access their fueling system and alleviates the need to travel for refueling.
The Board approved Agreement 2026-053 on March 17th 2026, and the Agreement was forwarded to Caltrans for their signature. Caltrans has signed the Agreement, but has made some minor formatting changes, an update to Payment State Administrative Manual Section (removal of .9210 in Exhibit B.3.A), and a re-working of the signature page. Caltrans is requiring an updated signature by the Fire Chief with Resolution 2026-19 authorizing the Fire Chief to sign.
