a) RESOLUTION - Request adoption of a Resolution authorizing the Interim Director of Public Works to execute the State Lands Commission Lease Agreement No. 5008 for the Aramayo Way Bridge
b) AGREEMENT- Request approval and authorization for the Interim-Director to sign the General Lease agreement with the State of California State Lands Commission for use and maintenance of an existing vehicle bridge with a pedestrian sidewalk known as the Aramayo Way Bridge. The term for this agreement is 20 years; effective 2/28/24 through 2/27/44

Financial Impact:
The total financial impact is $3,190.
The processing fee for the lease agreement preparation was $3,190 and budgeted in the Road Fund # 3011-53230. The future costs and maintenance of the Lease premises are budgeted as necessary in Road Fund # 3011-53280.
There is no initial or future impact to the General Fund.
Background Information:
The California State Lands Commission (SLC) asserts authority within the Low Water Mark of the Sacramento River and requires a lease agreement for the alignment of Aramayo Way Bridge.
On November 1, 1972, the SLC entered into a lease agreement with the County of Tehama issuing access to the Aramayo Way Bridge located in the City of Tehama for a duration of 49-years. Lease No. 5008 will renew public access to the County and its travelers for a duration of 20 years beginning on February 28, 2024, and ending on February 27, 2044.
