Financial Impact:
Due to the denial of State Emergency assistance, the project will be initially financed with Emergency/Disaster Funds. These expenditures will be fully offset with backfill funding from Secure Rural Schools (SRS) funds upon receipt of State allocations.
Background Information:
Per direction and approval given by the Board on the December 16, 2025 meeting, the Department is proceeding with “Option 3” (Short-span triple-single, full legal load) at a cost of $235,000.
