Financial Impact:
Costs will be paid utilizing Realignment funds and the STI Collaborative Prevention grant. There is no impact to the General Fund.
Background Information:
The purpose of this Agreement will be to continue and complete specific surveillance system infrastructure projects, which include setting up a public facing health outcome dashboard, conduct communicable disease (CD) case investigations and surveillance, implementation of a countywide survey to assess telehealth usage and interest, assistance with other epidemiology data requests, and projects in support of the department working towards Public Health accreditation.
Consultation services provided under this agreement will be utilized to complete projects that support foundational infrastructure for the local health department. Without completion of the projects, Tehama County would not be able to bring our local health department to a level that is in alignment with national standards.
