Financial Impact:
This Agreement secures Microsoft volume licensing and pricing and does not incur additional cost to the purchase order that was approved by the Board on May 19th, 2026. There are sufficient funds budgeted in account number 5013-53170 and there is no impact to the General Fund.
Background Information:
This expense was approved by the Board via purchase order on May 19, 2026 (Agenda item 26-0729), The Department requested approval from the Board for a bid waiver and purchase order on May 19th, 2026, for the acquisition of 200 Microsoft O365 user subscriptions and appropriate licensing. The Volume Licensing Program forms are the final step in the acquisition process and are required by the vendor and Microsoft to move forward. The Department has used Microsoft software for many years. The acquisition of Microsoft O365 is necessary to keep our IT infrastructure modern, secure, and efficient.
