Financial Impact:
Budget Unit is 40131 for Mental Health. This is a receivable to the Agency in the amount of $143,682 with an expenditure deadline of 6/30/26.
Background Information:
On 8/3/21, the Board of Supervisors approved the HHAP-2 block grant Agreement (Misc. Agreement #2021-193). This grant funding is to support regional coordination and expand or develop local homelessness initiatives throughout the state of California. Funding must be expended on solutions that address and prevent homelessness.
Amendment No.1 updates the Contracting Agency Name from Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency to Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) and replaces the term “Agency” with “Department”. The Amendment also extends the term of the Agreement by one year. Additionally, this amendment will also update and revise the Exhibits, including the Scope of Work as well as the Budget Detail and Disbursement Provisions.
