Background Information:
The Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program (Carl Moyer Program) has been highly successful for many years in reducing air pollution in Tehama County. In 2020, the Department of Agriculture, in co-operation with the Tehama County Air Pollution Control District, was able to purchase an EV ARC transportable solar-powered electric charging station that has been available for public use. Through its agreement with the Tehama County Air Pollution District, the department now has the opportunity to install an additional solar-powered electric vehicle charging station for public use.
