This will be a receivable paid to Recruits who receive final approval from Partnership HealthPlan (PHP) and are employed by the Health Services Agency.

Background Information:

Partnership HealthPlan is a non-profit community-based health care organization that contracts with the State of California through Department of Healthcare Services (DHCS) to administer Medi-Cal benefits through local care providers, and to ensure Medi-Cal recipients have access to comprehensive quality care. PHP covers assigned enrollees in twenty-four counties, which includes many rural communities. Offering care to members in rural areas across a large geographical area creates challenges, and PHP is committed to providing its members with enough contracted providers to ensure quality care for each member. PHP created the PRP to offer grants to contracted providers for recruiting and hiring individual providers who agree to join PHP’s network and treat members, as budget allows.
