a) AGREEMENT - Approval and authorization for the Chair to sign Amendment No.1 to Agreement #2024-378 with Health Management Associates, Inc., to continue providing consulting and technical assistance related to PATH Round 3 funding and CalAIM implementation for both correctional facilities, the Jail and Juvenile Detention Facility, set forth in Exhibit “B” with maximum compensation not to exceed $1,175,000, effective 6/1/24 and shall terminate 9/30/27

Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact to the General Fund. Probation and the Sheriff’s Office will utilize CalAIM PATH 3 funds to issue payment to Health Management Associates, Inc.
Background Information:
Miscellaneous Agreement #2024-378 was approved on 1/17/25 to allow Tehama County Probation and Sheriff’s Office to partner with Health Management Associates, Inc. (HMA) for the purpose of providing consulting and technical assistance with the CalAIM implementation as required by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). This amendment will allow HMA to continue to provide the necessary assistance as both facilities prepare to go live with CalAIM implementation.
