body

Financial Impact:

None.

Background Information:

Per the Agency's JPA agreement, the Executive Committee shall pass a resolution establishing its regular meeting schedule. Regular meetings of the Tehama County Solid Waste Management Agency Executive Committee are currently held on the first Thursday of the month in months where the Full Board does not meet, at 3:00 PM, as such:

February                      Corning City Council Chambers

March                      Agency Administrative Office

May                                           Agency Administrative Office

June                                           Corning City Council Chambers

August                      Agency Administrative Office

September                      Agency Administrative Office

November                      Corning City Council Chambers

December                      Agency Administrative Office

Senate Bill 707 (Durazo) requires changing the meeting location to accommodate remote access for the public to participate via telephone or audiovisual platforms. The attached resolution reflects this change by holding all meetings at the Board Chambers where the Full Board meetings are held. Additionally, if the Executive Committee desires to hold a meeting outside of the regular meeting time determined, the Executive Committee can request the alternative times and locations. However, such meetings would be considered special meetings and not necessitate inclusion in the resolution.
