Dewitt Trust dated April 19, 1999, for one (1) Temporary Construction Easement relative to the Kirkwood Road at Jewett Creek Bridge Replacement Project, in the amount of $4,000, effective 10/8/24 to 10/8/25

Financial Impact:
The total cost of the temporary construction easement is $4,000; Highway Bridge Program (HBP) Funds pay 88.53% ($3,541.20) and Local Road Funds pay the remaining 11.47% ($458.80). There is no impact to the general fund.
Background Information:
The first right of way contract, Road Agreement 2021-07 expired on 4/30/2024. This is the second right of way contract with the property owners. The temporary construction easement needed to be extended, after it was discovered that additional work was necessary to adjust the height of the existing driveway. The redesign work consists of raising the existing driveway 1.2 feet to provide adequate sight distance for the Property Owners to merge onto Kirkwood Road.
