a) Request approval and authorization for the District Attorney to apply for the 2026 Victim/Witness Assistance Program Grant through the California Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) for funding in the amount of $334,249                     

 

b) AGREEMENT- Request approval and authorization for the District Attorney to sign the Grant Award Agreement for the 2026 Victim Witness Assistance Program Grant and all related documents with the California Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) in the amount of $334,249, effective 10/1/26 and shall terminate 9/30/27

Financial Impact:

This grant is 100% funded by CalOES.  There is no fiscal impact on the General Fund.

 

Background Information:

For over 28 years, the Tehama County Victim Services Program has been providing victim advocacy to crime victims in Tehama County.  This grant will allow us to continue our successful program.
