a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Executive Director to sign Amendment No.1 to Purchasing Agreement 270PA25 with WIPFLI, LLP for the provision of consulting services to Tehama County Health Services Agency (TCHSA), thereby increasing the maximum compensation amount to $56,000, and changing all references to WIPFLI, LLP throughout the agreement to hereafter be referred to as WIPFLI Advisory LLC, effective 7/1/25 and shall terminate 6/30/28

Financial Impact:
The maximum compensation amount is increasing from $48,000 to $56,000. The funds for this amendment will come from Medicare, Medi-Cal, private insurance, private pay, and realignment.
Background Information:
Effective October 1, 2025, WIPFLI, LLPP was assigned to WIPFLI Advisory LLC. TCHSA has been utilizing the services of WIPFLI, LLP since 2019 for consulting services and preparation of the annual Medicare Cost Report, the Medi-Cal PPS Reconciliation Request, and the Medi-Cal Change in Scope of Service Request that are required by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). Additional funds are being added to the agreement in preparation for an upcoming audit by DHCS, which will require more consulting hours than what was anticipated in the original agreement.
