Financial Impact:

Assessments for the Fiscal Year 2026-27 are $15,369.15. Estimated expenditures for the Fiscal Year 2026/2027 total $2000.00 for Administration charges.

Background Information:

The proposed assessment amount is a 2.39% ($7.98) annual increase over the prior year. The anticipated seven-year cycle Slurry Seal Road maintenance application was deferred to reset maintenance application schedule and performed in Fiscal Year 2025-2026 resulting in a 1-inch overlay to be applied. The Fiscal Year 2026-2027 has no scheduled road maintenance. The Board could choose not to approve the request, in which case, the Bywood Drive PRD will not have the authority to place assessments on the tax roll or to pay administrative and management charges incurred for assessment management, the maintenance of records and inspections.
