a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Chief Probation Officer or his designee to sign the agreement with Glenn County to provide board and care of Glenn County Minor(s) for a daily bed rate of $150 per day, per person, with the maximum amount not to exceed $1,350,000, in addition to compensation for Secure Track Youth not to exceed $300,000, effective upon the date of execution by all parties to terminate on 6/30/25

Financial Impact:
The agreement will generate revenue for Tehama County Juvenile Hall. Glenn County has been averaging 3-5 youth in the last two years. Revenue generated on room and board contracts will help reduce net county cost for the Tehama County Juvenile Hall.
Background Information:
This agreement will allow for Tehama County Juvenile Detention Facility to provide board and care for Glenn County wards and invoice Glenn County Probation for the cost of services and at a daily bed rate. This agreement is at the request of the Glenn County Chief Probation Officer.
