a)                     AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Chair to sign the agreement with APEX Technology Management for the purpose of providing remote support services for servers, computers and network, and on-site and cloud backup services, with maximum compensation not to exceed $260,000, effective 7/1/25 and shall terminate 6/30/26

Financial Impact:

Funds have been budgeted in General Services1073-53170 for FY 25/26.  Proposals are based and the number of users for any given month so cushion has been added to the maximum not-to-exceed amounts to accommodate any upward fluctuation.

 

Background Information:

The County has utilized Apex Technology Management for over several years to serve and support the shared network and infrastructure that serves the Annex, Administration, Courthouse and Public Guardian/Public Administrator Buildings. The remote support services continues the Gold support level for workstation service. The services provided within this contract include unlimited remote support for servers, computers, and network. The Digital Umbrella On-site & Cloud services provides online Office 365 daily backups.
