Financial Impact:
There is no impact to the General Fund. Child Support Services will budget for this in the upcoming budget cycles. Our allocation from the State is sufficient to cover the increase in rent.
Background Information:
The Tehama County Department of Child Support Services has been leasing our current facility from Alpha Vista Properties since September 2012.
The Department currently leases the facility for $5,015.27 per month.
In this new lease the rent would increase to $6,510.00 per month in the first year, with a 3% increase each year in years two-five.
The square footage of the premises is approximately 8543 square feet which equates to $0.76 per square foot in year one.
