Carl Moyer funding and associated agreements are budgeted annually by the District.
Background Information:
The Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program (Carl Moyer Program), Funding Agricultural Replacement Measures for Emission Reductions (FARMER) and Local AB 923 incentive programs have been highly successful for many years in reducing air pollution in Tehama County. The Carl Moyer program provides funding through air districts for agricultural harvesting equipment, heavy-duty trucks, agricultural pump engines, tractors, and other equipment used in agricultural operations. The agreement with Red Bank Outfitters, Inc. will be funded by Carl Moyer Program funds and will help replace a 2002 New Holland TC40D, equipped with a diesel-fired 40-horsepower engine with a New John Deere 5075E Utility Tractor, equipped with a diesel-fired 75-horsepower engine.
