Financial Impact:
This contract expense will be paid from Social Services Professional and Special Services account 5013-532300. The cost was planned in the FY 2026-27 budget. As these services benefit all areas of the Department, the cost will be generic and shared among all funding sources. There is no cost to the General Fund.
Background Information:
Tehama County District Attorney Bureau of Investigation provides on-site uniformed DA Investigators during Social Services’ hours of operation to provide security services. Services include foot patrol of buildings, parking lots, work areas, and lobby, diffuse disturbances, and assist during evacuations or emergency situations. This is a renewal contract.
