body

Financial Impact:

The length of the term was extended and therefore the maximum compensation amount was increased by $700,000. Costs for services provided by the vendor are in the Department's budget and paid for with Mental Health realignment and/or Mental Health Services Act funds allocated for medically necessary services.

Background Information:

The Misc. Agreement #2024-360 was reviewed and approved by the Board of Supervisors on 12/3/24. This vendor is one of several locum tenens contracts the Department utilizes to provide temporary staffing arrangements for physicians and mid-level providers specializing in behavioral health therapy or medical services.

This amendment #1 extends the length of the term from 11/30/25 to 6/30/26, and it increases the maximum compensation amount from $800,000 to $1,500,000 to cover for the increase in necessary services and extension of the term. The amendment also updates the Scope of Work and Rates in Exhibit B to include Associate level clinicians, and to update the rates.
