Background Information:
The Board of Supervisors converted the Veterans Hall Ad Hoc Committee to the Veterans Hall Advisory Standing Committee (VHASC) in March of 2024. The intent of the VHASC is to serve to provide support and resources to the halls.
The Committee consists of three (3) veteran representatives, one from each hall and two (2) Board of Supervisors representatives. Regular meetings are held quarterly and special meetings may be scheduled at the committee’s request as needed. This committee will provide recommendations which will be presented to the Board of Supervisors per standard agenda procedure.
Attached bylaws were drafted by a member of the committee and revised by discussion and vote at the June 10, 2024 meeting. These bylaws were approved by the Committee by a vote of 4-0.
