There is no financial impact related to this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Budget Unit is 40131. There is no impact to the General Fund.
Background Information:
Resolution Number 2021-143 for No Place Like Home (NPLH) for the Palm Villas Allocation granted the Department authorization to enter into agreements deemed necessary pertaining to the NPLH Loan. The Department entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Northern Valley Catholic Social Service (NVCSS) and Palm Communities for the parties to work together and establish a partnership for the successful development, operation and management of the Palm Villas at Red Bluff project consisting of 61 one, two and three-bedroom units, a new construction affordable housing development.
Previously, Aperto Property Management was assisting as the Property Management Company, however, Palm Communities and NVCSS, as the Development Sponsors under the MOU, formed Red Bluff PV Partners LP, a California limited partnership. This MOU assigns the Red Bluff PV Partners LP the rights and obligations under the MOU.
