a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Director, or her Designee, and the District Attorney to sign the renewal Interagency Memorandum of Understanding for the purpose of providing security personnel in the Red Bluff Social Services office for the amounts set forth in Exhibit “C”, with maximum compensation not to exceed $123,882, effective 7/1/25 and shall terminate 6/30/26

Financial Impact:
This contract expense will be paid from Social Services Professional and Special Services account 5013-532300. The cost has been budgeted for in the FY 2025/26 budget. These services support all areas of the Department; therefore, the associated costs will be treated as general and proportionally allocated across all funding sources. There is no cost to the County General Fund.
Background Information:
Tehama County District Attorney Bureau of Investigation provides on-site uniformed DA Investigators during Social Services’ hours of operation to provide security services. Services include foot patrol of buildings, parking lots, work areas, and lobby, diffuse disturbances, and assist during evacuations or emergency situations.
