Background Information:
• The Agency tabled at the Corning Tuesday Night Market on October 6 to promote recycling, proper household hazardous waste disposal, and backyard composting.
• The Agency tabled at the Corning Olive Festival on October 10 to promote recycling, proper household hazardous waste disposal, and backyard composting.
• The Agency tabled at the Dairyville Orchard Festival on October 17 to promote recycling, proper household hazardous waste disposal, and backyard composting.
• The Agency presented with the 4Rs "Field Trip on Wheels" Exhibit Trailer to a class of 2nd graders at Bidwell Elementary School in Red Bluff on October 23. They used this time to teach students about Recycle, Reduce, Reuse, Rebuy, and household hazardous waste.
• The Agency collaborated with First 5 Tehama to do "The Earth Book" bilingual story time at the Corning Branch of Tehama County Library on November 2. They used this time to teach youth about recycling and reducing waste.
• The Agency collaborated with Green Waste of Tehama to give a landfill/MRF tour and careers presentation to approximately 30 TELA students and educators on November 4.
