a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Interim Executive Director to sign the Agreement with Aurora Behavioral Healthcare-Santa Rosa, LLC, a California limited liability company dba Aurora Santa Rosa Hospital for the purpose of providing Psychiatric Inpatient Services for rates set forth in Exhibit “B” with total maximum compensation not to exceed $625,000 in any one fiscal year, effective 7/1/26 and shall terminate on 6/30/28

Financial Impact:
Budget Unti is 40131 for Behavioral Health. Costs will be paid using budgeted Mental Health realignment funds allocated for medically necessary services and/or Behavioral Health Services Act funds. There is no impact to the General Fund.
Background Information:
This is a renewal Agreement with the vendor to provide medically necessary psychiatric hospitalization for Tehama County residents. This contract provides Tehama County with an additional resource for clients in psychiatric crisis.
If this Agreement is not approved, the Department would have fewer options for psychiatric hospitalization placements among the limited number of beds available throughout the state.
