a) Consider adoption of a finding that the Sheriff's Office Landscape Project is categorically exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act, (CEQA) (Class 1 Categorical Exemption) and direction to the Chief Administrator to file the Notice of Exemption
b) Request approval of the plans and specifications for the Sheriff's Office Landscape Project
c) Request authorization for Administration to advertise for bids on the project, with the bid opening to be held at 3:00 P.M. on 5/21/24 in the Administrative Office, 727 Oak Street, Room #202, Red Bluff, California

Financial Impact:
This project will be paid for with AB443 funds, which are eligible for law enforcement purposes. Funds will be transferred at bid award.
Background Information:
This project is for landscaping improvements to the front area of the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office, in order to make the office more inviting to the public and improve employee morale. Improvements include paving, hardscape, a covered gazebo, lighting, and upgrades to the flag pole. This project has utilized AB109 labor in order to reduce costs.
