Financial Impact:
Signing these Letters of Support of Tehama County Continuum of Care's (Tehama CoC's) ERF Round 5 Applications will allow the Health Services Agency the possible benefit from receiving funds to support ongoing medical street outreach, behavioral health crisis response, and ongoing supportive services for tenants in permanent supportive housing units, and will allow the Tehama County Sheriff's Office the possible benefit of receiving funds to support activities related to addressing encampments in Tehama County.

Background Information:
The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) has made funds available through Round 5 of the Encampment Resolution Funding (ERF) Program. ERF Round 5 funds were established for the following purposes:
* Assist local jurisdictions in ensuring the safety and wellness of people experiencing homelessness in encampments.
* Provide encampment resolution grants to local jurisdictions and continuums of care to resolve critical encampment concerns and transition individuals into safe and stable housing.
* Encourage a data-informed, coordinated approach to address encampment concerns.
As an eligible applicant for ERF Round 5 funds, Tehama CoC is coordinating the development of two ERF Round 5 proposals to support eligible activities that will serve to mitigate risk and address safety concerns while ensuring a pathway for individuals living in encampments...
