a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Social Services Director or Designee and County Counsel to sign the Interagency Memorandum of Understanding to provide legal services involving Welfare and Institutions Code 300 cases; with a maximum compensation not to exceed $328,324 effective 7/1/26 and shall terminate 6/30/27.

Financial Impact:
The costs for this contract will be planned in the FY 26/27 Budget in 5013-532300, Professional Services. The contract will be funded through Federal and Realignment revenues. This will have no impact on the General Fund.
Background Information:
This is a renewal MOU. County Counsel has provided legal support and has represented the County in juvenile WIC Code 300 cases for the past several years.
