Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact on the FY 26/27 General Fund. Funding will be supported with federal asset forfeiture funding, AB443 funds, and grant funding.
Background Information:
The Sheriff’s Office is requesting approval of the Agreement renewal with Cardan Aircraft Services to support the continued operation and maintenance of the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office helicopter, N911NN, through the provision of ongoing aircraft maintenance and alteration services. Under the agreement, maintenance services will be provided at a discounted labor rate of $95.00 per hour through completion of the aircraft’s first annual inspection, after which services will resume at the standard rate of $135.00 per hour. The Agreement will assist the Sheriff’s Office in maintaining the operational readiness, safety, and reliability of the aviation unit.
