Financial Impact:
Funding for this contract has been planned in the FY 25/26 Budget in account 5013-532300, Professional Services. A total compensation of $400,000 will be paid to Chabot-Las Positas Community College District for planning and providing training, with an Administrative In-Kind Match of $400,000 that will be paid by Chabot-Las Positas Community College District. This contract will be funded with 100% Federal Title IV-E funds, and there will be no cost to the County General Fund.
Background Information:
Chabot-Las Positas Community College District is a new vendor for the provision of providing training and educational services that are designed to assist child welfare providers, and other eligible populations, in serving Title IV-E eligible children in foster and adoptive care within Tehama County.
Under the terms of this Agreement, subcontracts will be issued to five partner agencies: Tehama County Probation Department, Empower Tehama, First 5 Tehama, Children First Foster Family Agency, and Victor Community Support Services to deliver training, provide consulting, and resources for children and families served through child protective services.
