a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Executive Director to sign the Agreement with Alliant University, Inc. for placement of students for the Masters in Clinical Counseling program, effective 10/1/26 and shall terminate 6/30/28 (Subject to receipt of required insurance documentation)

Financial Impact:
There is no direct financial cost for the Department to participate in this program. There is no impact to the General Fund.
Background Information:
This is a new Agreement with Alliant University, Inc. for the placement of students who are currently in the University’s Masters in Clinical Counseling program with the Health Services Agency. The students are given the opportunity to participate in a service-learning environment with the staff. It is also an opportunity for the Department to participate in the education of those who plan a career in health services and gives the Department an opportunity to recruit these candidates after they graduate from college. If this agreement is not approved, these students would need to find other facilities to provide them with their training needs.
