a)                     Request approval and authorization for the District Attorney to apply for the 2024 Victim/Witness Assistance Program Grant through the California Emergency Management Agency for funding in the amount of $326,826

 

b)                     AGREEMENT-Request approval and authorization for the District Attorney to sign the Grant Award Agreement for the 2024 Victim/Witness Assistance Program Grant and all related documents with the California Emergency Management Agency in the amount of $326,826, effective 10/1/24 through 9/30/25

Financial Impact:

This grant is 100% funded by CalOES. There is no financial impact to the General Fund.

 

Background Information:

For 28 years, the Tehama County Victim Services Program has been providing victim advocacy to crime victims in Tehama County. This grant will allow us to continue our successful program.
