Financial Impact:
This contract is budgeted in the FY 26/27 Probation budget and will be paid for out of SB678 funds. There is no impact to the General Fund.
Background Information:
The STEP-UP program provides academic, logistical, and limited financial support for students who have been formally incarcerated and/or have suffered from alcohol or drug addiction. Every semester Probation averages ten to fifteen referrals to the STEP-UP program.
