Financial Impact:
The Construction of the project was funded by a combination of Highway Bridge Program (HBP) and State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) funds. This project contract was budgeted from the Road Fund - Professional and Special Services #3015-53230.
Background Information:
The project included the realignment of Evergreen Road from approximately 400 feet west of the Anderson Cottonwood Irrigation District (ACID) canal to the intersection of Evergreen Road and Bowman Road, the replacement of the Evergreen Road Bridge over the ACID canal, and the replacement of the Evergreen Road Bridge over South Fork Cottonwood Creek. The contract was awarded to J.F. Shea Construction Inc. in the amount of $13,958,457.00. A contingency of $1,709,148.00 was budgeted. Thirty-nine change orders in the amount of $759,624.55 were issued, for a total project cost of $14,718,081.55. Work was completed on June 20, 2025.
