body
Financial Impact:
There are no financial costs associated with this Agreement.
Background Information:
This Agreement is mutually beneficial to Tehama County and to Humboldt State as our Child Welfare division provides an opportunity for Social Work students to get field experience, and our agency then has the opportunity to recruit these individuals once they graduate. This program is possible through the federal Title IV-E Program. To qualify for the federally funded Title IV-E training program, students must major in social work. Upon completing the program, social workers must work for at least two years in a county child welfare services agency or California Department of Social Services child welfare division.
