a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Interim Executive Director to sign the Agreement with Remi Vista, Inc. for the purpose of Medi-Cal Specialty Mental Health Services for eligible children for a maximum compensation amount not to exceed $1,300,000, effective 7/1/26 and shall terminate 6/30/28

body

Financial Impact:

Budget Unit is 40131 for Mental Health. Costs will be paid for with Mental Health Services Act funds and/or Mental Health realignment funds allocated for medically necessary services. There is no impact to the General Fund.

Background Information:

This is a renewal Agreement with Remi Vista to provide mental health services to eligible children (aged 0-15) in Tehama County that meet medical necessity as defined by Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT) Medi-Cal Specialty Mental Health, as well as case-by-case uninsured or non-Medi-Cal eligible children. If the Agreement is not approved, the Agency would need to look for another vendor to provide similar services for youth in need of specialized services. This could result in minors being placed at further distances and cause disruption and delays for clients for much needed services.
