a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Executive Director to sign the Amendment #1 with Davis Guest Home, Inc. (Misc. Agreement #2023-87) for the purpose of providing community mental health services to certain residents for the rates as set forth in Exhibit “B” thereby amending the total compensation not to exceed $150,000, effective 7/1/23 and shall terminate 6/30/24

Financial Impact:
Costs of services will be paid for with Mental Health realignment funds and/or Mental Health Services Act dollars allocated for medically necessary services. The total maximum compensation is being increased by $25,000.
Background Information:
Davis Guest Home provides long term residential services to residents of Tehama County. Due to some changes in client placements over the last two quarters, we have overrun the contract maximum. There are situations that occur beyond our control necessitating unanticipated utilization of certain contracts. If the amendment is not approved, clients in need of these long term services who are referred to the Department will not have the benefit of this location or programs to meet their needs. This could result in clients being placed at further distances and cause disruptions and delays for clients for these residential services.
