Background Information:
The Political Reform Act requires every local government agency to review its Conflict of Interest Code biennially. The Agency must submit a notice indicating whether or not an amendment is necessary to the Board of Supervisors.
The Agency’s Conflict of Interest Code (included in your agenda packet) was adopted by the Agency’s Board of Directors and the Board of Supervisors in 2020. Since its adoption, there have not been any substantial changes to the Agency’s organizational structure, positions have not been eliminated or added, and there have not been any substantial changes in duties or responsibilities for any of the positions. Further, the code has been reviewed by Agency Counsel, Collin Bogener, who found it does not necessitate any amendments.
