Financial Impact:
This project is partially funded through Tehama County’s allocation of American Rescue Plan Act funds, and a Federal Community Project Funding grant award. Funding for this project could be impacted by a potential pause of Federal grant funds. The anticipated costs for this project are fully covered by these funding sources. A budget adjustment to include the grant will be presented prior to the time of award.
Background Information:
This project is for the renovation and improvements to the Corning Veterans Memorial Hall, constructed in 1933. This project will keep the building functional and bring some aspects to current standards.
Given that the majority of the funding for this project will come from reimbursements under a Federal grant, staff are actively monitoring the potential freeze of grants and will provide updates as new information becomes available.
