Background Information:
Tehama County has an area of approximately 3,000 square miles and the Tehama County Building Department is responsible for providing service to the entire county. The Department now offers next-day building inspections to every region of the County as long as the request is made prior to 4:30 p.m. for the next business day. Our staff of 8 consists of four certified Building Inspectors, a certified Permit Technician II, a Bilingual Permit Technician I who is also a Notary, one Office Manager (also a Certified Permit Technician) and the Certified Building Official.
