a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Chair and Fire Chief to sign the Memorandum of Understanding with Dignity Health dba St. Elizabeth Community Hospital, for the provision of dispatch services for ambulance transport for a flat rate of $214,156.00 per year, with a four percent (4%) increase on July 1st of each year, effective 10/1/26 through 9/30/28

Financial Impact:
This Agreement is receivable in the amount of $214,156.00 per year with an increase of four percent (4%) on July 1st. Revenue will be deposited into account #2042-461026.
Background Information:
The County has contracted with St. Elizabeth Hospital since July 1, 2000. Without this Agreement they will have to look for alternative dispatching services. In the interest of local public safety this Agreement is necessary. This Agreement also provides the fire department funding for a Communications Operator position.
