a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Social Services Director to sign the Memorandum of Understanding between Partnership Health Plan of California and County of Tehama, to ensure that Medi-Cal beneficiaries enrolled, or eligible to enroll in Partnership Health Plan, who are eligible for and/or are receiving In-Home Supportive Services are able to access and/or receive services in a coordinated manner, effective upon signing and continues for a term of three years or until terminated by either party

Financial Impact:
This is a collaborative Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), with no costs to Social Services or the County.
Background Information:
This new MOU sets forth the roles and responsibilities of both the Managed Care Plan (MCP) and Tehama County Social Services. The MCP is required under the Medi-Cal Managed Care Contract Exhibit A, Attachment III, to enter into this MOU to ensure that Medi-Cal beneficiaries enrolled, or eligible to enroll, in MCP who are eligible for and/or are receiving In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) are able to access and/or receive services in a coordinated manner from MCP and County. The parties desire to ensure that Members receive MCP and County services in a coordinated, non-duplicative manner and to provide a process to continuously evaluate the quality of the care coordination.
