Financial Impact:
This amendment adds an additional $109,000 to the original contract budget of $250,000, bringing the Maximum Compensation to $359,000. This contract is paid for with federal funding. There is no impact to the General Fund.
Background Information:
The original Miscellaneous Agreement 2025-304 was approved by the Board of Supervisors on October 21, 2025. Social Services, Eligibility branch enlisted the assistance of SolutionsWest to help process the large volume of Medi-Cal applications and re-certifications that Social Services receives and is required to re-evaluate. This Amendment extends the term of the contract until June 30, 2026 and increases the original contract budget by $109,000, with a total maximum compensation of $359,000.
