Background Information:
Per Section 4.G.1.c of the Landfill Operations contract, Waste Connections is responsible for development and permitting Phase 3 of the Landfill. Waste Connections is required to conduct appropriate CEQA evaluations and obtain all applicable permits or requirements from CalRecycle, the Regional Water Quality Control Board, and the Tehama County Air Pollution Control Board.
Included with this agenda item is a presentation by Waste Connections’ Engineer, Dave Brown, on the current progress and future work needed to permit and develop Phase 3.
