Financial Impact:
There is no cost to Tehama DCSS or Tehama County. There is a staff resource benefit to the Department.
Background Information:
This is a renewed Agreement and partnership between Tehama County Child Support Services and Sierra-Nevada Regional Child Support Services. Sierra-Nevada Regional has become a subject matter expert (SME) in processing Worker’s Compensation cases which have specific nuances. Having SMEs proficient in these types of cases to work the tasks, is a program efficiency. Their department also provides this service to other counties in addition to Tehama County Child Support Services.
