Requested Action(s)

recommendation

a)                     RESOLUTION - Request adoption of a Resolution amending Reso #2025-074, the FY 25/26 Position Allocation List (PAL), by deleting 1.00 FTE Hazardous Materials Specialist I/II/III and by adding 1.00 FTE Environmental Health Specialist I/II/Senior, effective 3/4/26

body

Financial Impact:

The financial impact was accounted for in the Department’s FY 25/26 Mid-Year Budget.

Background Information:

On March 3, 2026, the Board of Supervisors approved the FY 25/26 Mid-Year Budget, which included a Resolution amending the Position Allocation List (PAL) (Reso #2025-074). A subsequent review identified a clerical error in the PAL Resolution that unintentionally removed 1.00 FTE Hazardous Materials Specialist I/II/III and 3.00 FTE Environmental Health Specialist I/II/Senior positions.

The intended action was to change the 1.00 FTE Hazardous Materials Specialist I/II/III allocation to an Environmental Health Specialist I/II/Senior, resulting in a total of 5.00 FTE for that classification.

If approved, this Resolution would supersede PAL Resolution 2026-007 solely as it pertains to Environmental Health (BU 4011).
