a)                     Declare the following vehicles to be surplus County property:

1)                     ROAD - 2007 Ford F-250, VIN # 1FTNX20547EB08644, County Inventory #26666, Stock #623

2)                     HEALTH SERVICES AGENCY - 2008 Dodge Caravan, VIN # 1D8HN44H68B149798, County Inventory #26966, Stock #950

 

b)                     Request authorization for Trindel to dispose of the property in the manner that provides the highest possible return to the County

body

 

Financial Impact:

All proceeds will be held as reimbursement to Trindel. Trindel has already provided funds to departments for replacement vehicles in accordance with our insurance process. 

 

Background Information:

The vehicles referenced above were determined to be total losses as a result of employee-involved accidents. Tehama County’s insurance provider, Trindel, will manage the disposal of these vehicles in order to obtain the highest possible return for the County. The Department’s will follow Trindel processes for replacement vehicles.
