Background Information:
Operating since 1980, Trindel is a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) established pursuant to California Government Code Section 6500 et seq. Membership is limited to California counties and currently includes 12 rural Northern California counties, with Tehama County, which joined in 2022, as the newest member. Trindel has established pooled programs for workers’ compensation and general liability to help fund losses and reduce excess insurance costs for its members.
