Financial Impact:

Funding is approved in the Clinic Division's annual budget unit, 40251. Total base salary for the first year is $125,605. Any percentage increases in salary for all classifications represented by the Miscellaneous Bargaining Unit would increase Ms. Rodriguez's compensation by an equal percentage. There is no impact on the General Fund.

 

Background Information:

This is a new agreement with Ms. Rodriguez to perform the functions and duties of a full-time Physician's Assistant with the Medical Clinic. In her responsibilities working at Tehama County Health Services Agency (TCHSA) she may also provide services at the Juvenile Detention Facility and Jail. The Department has met with Ms. Rodriguez and both parties have agreed to the salary and benefits and all terms and conditions contained in the agreement. 

 

Without Board of Supervisor approval, Medical Clinic patients may not have access to mid-level practitioner services in a timely manner.

 

This is a contract, overtime exempt position.
