Background Information:
The Tehama County Board of Supervisors previously adopted Resolution No. 5-2001 effective from and after February 6, 2001, to establish rules for maintaining regular hours of operations for County departments. Chapter 2.40.010 of the Tehama County Code provides that County office hours shall be eight a.m. to five p.m. unless otherwise approved by the Board of Supervisors.
If approved, this Resolution will result in the Building and Safety Department being open to the public as follows:
Monday - Friday Office Hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and remaining open during the lunch hour.
Monday - Friday Phone Hours 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This requested change provides greater customer service during the lunch hour when the office was previously closed.
